Another of my obsessions is metal toy robots from the 1950’s and ‘60s. This totem of robot heads celebrates the many ways one can turn a face into a mechanical creature!

I create the zines by making a pencil or ink drawing, copying the drawing onto colored art paper, then adding detail in white gouache on the final print, to make each zine truly unique, and cutting and folding to make the accordion. I tie a string to the top of each zine for possible hanging. Each zine goes in a clear envelope with a cover sheet, autographed on the back.
