For this zine, I wanted to show some skateboarders valiantly taking a fall. After seeing many kids in skateboard parks and on street corners suffering a lot of abuse as they develop their skills, I wanted to bring some humor and attention to the perils of this sport.

I create the zines by making a pencil or ink drawing, copying the drawing onto colored art paper, then adding detail in white gouache on the final print, to make each zine truly unique, and cutting and folding to make the accordion. I tie a string to the top of each zine for possible hanging. Each zine goes in a clear envelope with a cover sheet, autographed on the back.
