I wanted to make a zine that showed many varieties of mushrooms that people ingest for ceremonial purposes, religious ritual or simply for entertainment or adventure—all of the ‘shrooms in this zine are drawn from the psychedelic variety of fungi. I think the blue color makes them look mysterious!

I create the zines by making a pencil or ink drawing, copying the drawing onto colored art paper, then adding detail in white gouache on the final print, to make each zine truly unique, and cutting and folding to make the accordion. I tie a string to the top of each zine for possible hanging. Each zine goes in a clear envelope with a cover sheet, autographed on the back.
