I’ve always loved the creature designs of California prop artist Paul Blaisdell, whose work was seen in many low-budget science fiction films in the 1950s and ‘60s. This zine showcases some of his most famous creations!

I create the zines by making a pencil or ink drawing, copying the drawing onto colored art paper, then adding detail in white gouache on the final print, to make each zine truly unique, and cutting and folding to make the accordion. I tie a string to the top of each zine for possible hanging. Each zine goes in a clear envelope with a cover sheet, autographed on the back.
